In 1908, Chicago was built by Ateliers et Chantiers de l’Atlantique, St. Nazaire, France,
Capacity: 9350 gross tons
Length: 508 (bp) feet long
Width: 57 feet wide
Steam triple expansion engines, twin screw.
Service speed 16 knots.
1608 passengers ( 358 first class, 1250 third class ).

She was built for French Line, and sailed from Le Havre to New York.
Later she sailed the Le Havre-Caribbean service.
In 1928, she was renamed Guadeloupe.
In 1936. she was scrapped in France.
