Obituary of KIRSCH, Sylvia (nee Sandberg). Peacefully, on Sunday, November 25, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Sol. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Elaine Kirsch and David Nirenberg, Lorne Kirsch and Rosa Ragosta. Cherished Nana of Paul, Sarah, Elizabeth, Eric and Stephen. Predeceased by her brother Harold. Sister-in-law of the late Simon and the late Rose Kirsch, the late Helen and the late Louis Rappaport, the late Moishe and the late Rita Kirsch. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family would like to thank her companion Anna Schwartz for her exceptional devotion, and the staff at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, November 27 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane. Shiva at Ruby Foo's on Tuesday, continuing Wednesday in New York and Toronto. Contributions in Sylvia's memory may be made to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, (514) 840-7425.
