Narrative
Kibbutz Eilon קיבוץ אילון was established in 1938, by Polish members of haShomer haTzair השומר הצעיר, as one of the original tower and stockade חומה ומגדל settlements.
The name Eilon אילון was derived from Elah, the Terebinth, and Alon, the oak, two tree species abundant in the forests of northern Israel.
