Narrative

On December 9, 1947, Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו sailed from Civitavecchia, carrying 850 passengers, including 150 chilldren.
She had been prepared for her voyage at La Spezia.
Tzvi Ben-Tzur cites: Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו "sailed on December 11th 1947 from the region of Civitavecchia, carrying 853 Ma’apilim."
Fritz Liebreich cites Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו sailed from Portovenere.

Narrative

In December, 1947, Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו was intercepted by HMS Chequers, HMS Verulam and HMS Bigbury Bay; HMS Volage and HMS Mermaid arrived as reinforcements.
At 08:05AM, Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו stopped when ordered, and offered no resistance to boarders.
Paul H. Silverstone's Aliyah Bet Project cites Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו offered no resistance to capture by destroyer, HMS Verulam.

Narrative

On December 22, 1947, because Lo Tafchidunu לא תפחידונו's engines would not restart, HMS Mermaid took her in tow to Haifa, .
Two cameramen were discovered aboard ship, together with Meyer Levin, and two actors with visas, who were making a film of the voyage, including incidents, such as the boarding and capturing of the vessel.
The passengers were sent to Cyprus Κύπρος for internment

Narrative

In 1948, LoTafchidu nuלא תפחידונו was transferred from the Shadow Fleet, renamed Yardena ירדנה, and used to transport Olim.
