Narrative
In 1948, the Arab armies overran the Old City of Jerusalem, and neighboring Kvar Ha-shiloach Ir David, which had been settled by Yemenite Jews in the late 1800's.
Narrative
On May 14, and the following days, the Etzioni Brigade חטיבת עציוני and the Harel Brigade חטיבת הראל supported by ITzl אצ"ל troops launched several operations to take over the Arab side of Jerusalem ירושלים.
