Event Note

Dr. Giora Josephthal lay in state in the Jewish Agency courtyard, where thousands of persons filed past, prior to the funeral procession kibbutz Galed.
Among those who attended the funeral was President Izhak Ben-Zvi.
At the funeral, eulogies were delivered by Acting Premier Levi Eshkol, Knesset Speaker Kaddish Luz and Moshe Sharett, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive.
