Narrative
In 1895. the founders of Hadera planted Gan Shmuel גן שמואל, a grove of etrogs.
The lands of Gan Shmuel גן שמואל were transferred to the Jewish National Fund.
In 1913, a small group took upon itself to tend to the orchards and live in a multi-story house.
In 1921, the group was recognized as a kibbutz.
In 1923, a stable group formed, and those members were considered the founders of Gan Shmuel גן שמואל.
