Stefan Brienitzer (Stephen Brent)'s niece discovered a last scribbled note from his mother, Ella, while researching her PhD.
He cites: "She found messages that people had written before they were taken to the camps. One was in my mother's handwriting. They were given to a little half-Jewish girl who survived. It was her last communication. She would have had no idea if anyone would ever read it."
