The Kolozsvár Ghetto Ghetoul din Cluj was located in Cluj, now Cluj-Napoca, then part of Hungary and called Kolozsvár.

Narrative

On May 3, 1944, the Germans established the ghetto for the Jews of Cluj, and ghettoization was completed within a week.
The Jews were concentrated in the Iris brickyard in the northern part of Cluj.
The concentration of the Jews was carried out by the local administrative and police authorities, with the cooperation of Schutzstaffel advisers, including SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Dieter Wisliceny.
The Kolozsvár Ghetto Ghetoul din Cluj was under the command of László Urbán, police chief of Cluj.

Narrative

The Kolozsvár Ghetto Ghetoul din Cluj was liquidated in six transports to Auschwitz, with the first deportation took place on May 25, and the last transport took place on June 9, 1944.
